♣GENERAL;
-BE ACTIVE. i will not begin to stress how frustrating it is when somebody joins and ditches. surely if you have the energy to make an account, you have the energy to stay a member?
-let's limit our cussing, shall we? it is allowed, but not in every sentence. also, the f word(rhymes with truck) and the b word(rhymes with ditch) are not allowed.
-nice. be nice. although we allow certain cussing, we do not allow it when you are referring to another user. that's mean. you'd be a meanie greystripe.
-no spamming. it's extremely annoying and will get you nowhere in life.
-no impersonating. this should go without saying.
-no advertising in areas besides the advertisement board. yes, that is why that board is there. it's not just there for my pleasure and comfort.
-oh yes. the big 'ol signatures. please PLEASE don't make other members sit here and scroll down half the page to see another post because your siggy is too freaking long. it gets annoying... trust me kids, although you probably know yourself. ;]
♣ROLEPLAYING;
-do not use chatspeak when roleplaying.
-at least try to make a good post. i can not stress how incredibly irritating it is when one person takes the time to write a descriptive paragraph, and another person comes in and writes: Lionheart walked out of the den. He ate food. He went on a patrol. It was fun.
Not only is that boring, but it sounds like you just graduated the first grade.
-try to post at least 60 words or more. trust me, that is not hard at all.
-no god-moding. If there is a battle, there is a little to no chance that your cat is going to waltz out of there in pristine condition, no scratches on him.
-no powerplaying.
-when your cat is giving birth, save us the dramatic details roars.
-now you've probably noticed how i'm using lowercase letters. i like it this way. but, i'm still using correct punctuation and what not.
-we do allow liquid timing. i mean, who wants to sit there clicking refresh a million times. uh, nobody! so we do allow your character to be in two or more places at once. but, remember, don't bite off more than you can chew.
-if your cat is an elder, make she he/she acts that way. saying this, it's not good if your 86 moons old elder is bouncing off the walls. or that your newborn kit is giving the leader battle advice or anything.
♣CHAT BOX;
-these rules are at the bottom, right beside the chat box. they're very simple.
-no flooding, spamming, impersonating, being mean, or advertising on the c-box.
♣CHARACTERS;
-no normal cat is going to be born with purple fur or wings sprouting from their sides. Let's keep it this way, shall we?
-you can have two high positions. Saying this, you may not have two leaders, or two deputies. You can have a leader and a medicine cat apprentice, that's a great pair.
-please no freakishly long names. An example would be Fireheartedclaw.
-let's try not to use names from the books. Minor characters are fine, ones that are mentioned a lot. But, Fireheart and Lionheart and Greystripe? Come on, you're smart you can think of your own.
-you may not have an incredibly large amount of cats. 298 cats? that's tiring loudly and
-going against the warrior code is so 'in' right now, isn't it? this means having mates in different clans, meddies having kits, blah blah blah. this is allowed, but restricted.
-here are the cat ages you should follow when making your bio:
Kit: 0-6 Moons
Apprentice: 6-12 Moons
Warrior: 12-70
Medicine Cat Apprentice: 6-20 Moons (Keep in mind, they have different training)
Deputy: 30+
Leader: 35+
Elder: 70+
♣CLAN-LIFE;
-PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE read the clan central board before making your bio. make sure you know what clan you want to join, and make sure that your cat follows the guidelines of that clan. saying that, i so do not want a happy cheerful all around friendly cat joining SwampClan. of course they can be happy and friendly underneath and to their clanmates.
-when you roleplay with you cat, make sure you know where you are. by this i mean is that if OceanClan's camp is guarded by large fronds and leaves, do not say that "lionstripe pushed his way out of the camp, brushing past the brambles and thorns."
-if you play an apprentice, make sure you and your mentor have made at least 2 training posts before you are made a warrior.
-if you are looking for a mentor, go to the "find a mentor" board in the Clan's camp. follow the very small, very simple form and you will be assigned a mentor in no time!
♣TERMS;
-Meddie: Medicine Cat
-Meddie Cat App: Medicine Cat Apprentice
-KP: Kittypet(i don't use this one often is cool)
-OOC: Out of character
-IC: In character
-OC: OceanClan
-PC: PebbleClan
-SC: SwampClan
-TC: TumbleClan
that's all for rules! i hope you found the password for the character creation! if you didn't read it carefully, and look for words that seem out of place in the sentence.
HINT;; there is 6 words
good luck!
